The PHAPCares, in partnership with AFP Reserve Command (AFPRESCOM), sent a team of doctors, nurses, and volunteers to conduct a one day medical mission last March 12 for the people in Isabela affected by the drought caused by El Niño phenomenon.
PHAPCares Executive Director Glecy Cuenco said the team brought essential medicines such as paracetamol, antibiotics, anti-hypertension, cough and colds, and others. They also gave 150 emergency kits composed of empty water gallon, mats, blankets, soap and canned goods for 150 poor families from six barangays namely Andabuen, Ara, New Magsaysay, Nacalma, Binagtogan and Villaruz in Benito Soliven, Isabela.
